The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Chris Savino. It revolves around the chaotic everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud, who survives as the middle child and only son in a large family of eleven children. The series originated from a two-minute short film created by Savino in 2013 for the annual Animated Shorts Program as a pitch to the network, and was greenlighted for production the following year.
The Loud House premiered on Nickelodeon on May 2, 2016, and has received positive reception from critics and audiences alike. It even managed to beat SpongeBob SquarePants as Nickelodeon's highest-rated show.
On October 14, 2019, a spin-off series, titled The Casagrandes, premiered. A feature film based on The Loud House is also in development, and will be released on Netflix in 2021.
