• Ortensia, Oswald's girlfriend, is mentioned in the dialog.
• In the scene where Mickey is talking to Astro Boy after destroying a pair of Robot Dinosaurs in the Jungle, he says "Yeah, I second that.", which sounds like he's saying "I suck at that." This was later poked fun at in Chapter 11.
