CatDog is an American animated television series created by Peter Hannan. It revolves around the titular characters, Cat and Dog, who share the same body, and although they are best friends and brothers, they have very different personalities. The show premiered on Nickelodeon on April 4, 1998, and ended on June 15, 2005, lasting four seasons and 68 episodes. Near the end of the series' run, a TV movie, entitled "CatDog and the Great Parent Mystery", was made.

Since its premiere, CatDog was well-received by viewers, and was nominated for an Annie Award, as well as the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards twice. It also spawned several merchandise, such as clothes, toys, a promotional deal with Burger King, a PC game, VHS and DVD releases, and even CatDog brand Cheese Nips.
